Pact of Umar/ Charter of Umar:-
It was Umar I, ibn al Khattab who alleged that Muhammad had said
" No two religions can exist in the Peninsula of the Arabs".
With Muhammad's alleged mandate in his hands, finished Muhammad's process of eradicating, dispocessing, 'islamising', despoiling, disfranchising and finally eradicating the presence of Christians and 'Jews' from the Arabian Peninsula especially in the areas of the Hijaz and Nufudh.
Umar II, ibn abd al Aziz, the Pious, was what we would call in today's terms a 'fundamentalist muslim' and following in the footsteps of his pre decessor, Umar I ibn al Khattab continued the blatant discrimination against Christians and Jews by promulgating a set of 'compassionate and merciful' rules against the People of the Book which read like some Protocols from Hitler's: Mein Kampf, as follows:
Historical note---The Status of Non-Muslims Under Muslim Rule-
After the rapid expansion of the Arab/'Muslim' dominion in the 7th century, 'Muslim' leaders required to work out a way of dealing with None-Muslims, who remained the majority in many areas for centuries.
The solution was to develop the notion of the "DHIMMA", or "protected person". The Dhimmis were required to pay a humiliating and onerous Poll Tax, but were usually left unmolested. This compares well with the treatment meted out to none-Christians in Christian Europe.
*** From whom were the IMPERIALIST & CONQUERING Arabs "protecting" the idigenous population? Not only were these people subjugated, slaughtered and humiliated by the Arabian hordes, the OPPRESSORS, added insult to injury by TAXING them for being "PROTECTED".
The Arabs preceded the MAFIA by at least 1300 years in the methodology of systematic TERROR & EXTORTION ***
The Pact of Umar is supposed to have been the peace accord offered by the Caliph Umar II to the Christians of Syria, a "pact" which formed the pattern of later interactions.
The text of the Pact of Umar, spelled out exactly the "TOLERANCE" granted (note the term "granted") to Christians (and Jews) in Muslim/Muhammadan lands, and was the guideline for dhimmitude.
This was the "pact of protection" that the Jews and Christians were forced to live under, or face death. It is commonly attributed to the second caliph, Umar ibn al-Khattab (reigned 634-644), but for a number of reasons that seems too early; it is more likely to be a product of the reign of Umar II (717-720), who was considered to be a PIOUS and good caliph.

Needless to say, he was not known for his tolerance and lassiez-faire attitudes. For that matter, his predecessor Umar I was infamous for his fanatical zeal for Islam and desire to destroy the unbelievers.
We heard from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Ghanam [died 78/697] as follows: When Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, accorded a peace to the Christians of Syria, we wrote to him as follows:
In the name of Allah, the Merciful and Compassionate. This is a letter to the servant of Allah, Umar [ibn al-Khattab], Commander of the Faithful, from the Christians of such-and-such a city. When you came against us, we asked you for safe-conduct (AMAN) for ourselves, our descendants, our property, and the people of our community, and we undertook the following obligations towards you:
1 We shall not build, in our cities or in their neighborhood, new monasteries, Churches, convents, or monks' cells, nor shall we repair, by day or by night, such of them as fall in ruins or are situated in the quarters of the Muslims.
2 We shall keep our gates wide open for passersby and travelers. We shall give board and lodging to all Muslims who pass our way for three days.
3 We shall not give shelter in our churches or in our dwellings to any spy, nor bide him from the Muslims.
4 We shall not teach the Qur'an to our children. It is forbidden to touch the Qur'an.
5 We shall not manifest our religion publicly nor convert anyone to it. We shall not prevent any of our kin from entering Islam if they wish it.

6 We shall show respect toward the Muslims, and we shall rise from our seats when they wish to sit.
7 We shall not seek to resemble the Muslims by imitating any of their garments, the qalansuwa, the turban, footwear, or the parting of the hair. We shall not speak as they do, nor shall we adopt their kunyas.
8 We shall not mount on saddles, nor shall we gird swords nor bear any kind of arms nor carry them on our- persons.
*** Because in Muhammadan Islam, ALL UNBELIEVERS are not NOBLE enough to ride a horse ***
9 We shall not engrave Arabic inscriptions on our seals.
10 We shall not sell fermented drinks.
11 We shall clip the fronts of our heads.
12 We shall always dress in the same way wherever we may be, and we shall bind the zunar round our waists.
*** The Jews were required to wear a yellow badge and the Christians a blue one. Muhammadan Islam preceded the NAZIS by 1350 years in fanaticism ***
13 We shall not display our crosses or our books in the roads or markets of the Muslims. We shall use only clappers in our churches very softly. We shall not raise our voices when following our dead. We shall not show lights on any of the roads of the Muslims or in their markets. We shall not bury our dead near the Muslims.
14 We shall not take slaves who have beenallotted to Muslims.
15 We shall not build houses overtopping the houses of the Muslims.
16 (When I brought the letter to Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, he added, "We shall not strike a Muslim.")
17 We accept these conditions for ourselves and for the people of our community, and in return we receive safe-conduct.
18 If we in any way violate these undertakings for which we ourselves stand surety, we forfeit our covenant [dhimma], and we become liable to the penalties for contumacy and sedition.
Umar ibn al-Khittab replied: Sign what they ask, but add two clauses and impose them in addition to those which they have undertaken. They are:
19 "They shall not buy anyone made prisoner by the Muslims," and
20 "Whoever strikes a Muslim with deliberate intent shall forfeit the protection of this pact."

Added to this is the tradition that he said " Two religions should not be allowed to remain in the Peninsula of the Arabs" after which he exiled the Jews and Christians from their own lands.
It has to be pointed out again and again and again, that these 'Jews' and Christians were NATIVE, INDIGENOUS ARABS who had willingly chosen to convert to the religion of the Jews and Christianity without the threat of the sword and had as much right to be in Arabia as the upstarts Muhammad, Umar and/or any of their followers.
On top of these discriminations followed more because of the Shari'a rules:
1 They ARE not allowed to defend themselves against a Muhammadan
2 They ARE not allowed to testify against a Muhammadan
3 Their graves had to be level so that anyone can walk over them
Throughout the last 1400 years, Jews and Christians have suffered enormous persecutions, humiliation, oppression, enslavement and slaughter at the hands of the Muhammadans. Tolerant 'Islam' is a lie, a falsehood and an oxymoron deliberately perpetrarted by Muhammadans to deceive and misinform ignorant people.
The most and disgusting fact is, that it is CLEARLY and UNAMBIGUOUSLY sanctioned in the Quran :
9: 29 Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His apostle nor acknowledge the religion of truth (even if they are) of the People of the Book until they pay the Jizya with willing submission and feel themselves subdued.
